OneWay Quartet
Born and raised in Morton, MS, Jared knew that music was in his blood.
After accepting Christ at the age of 6, Jared spent much of his childhood singing in churches and venues across the southeast with his family’s trio, The Vardamans. He was eleven years old when he felt the call on his life to pursue music ministry, and at twelve he found his love for songwriting. His solo album, Standing Firm, includes ten original songs written by Jared throughout the years.
After high school, he pursued a degree in Communications with a minor in Music from Mississippi College and was featured on numerous albums by Mississippi College Worship Collective, of which he was a member for almost four years.
Jared served as worship pastor at Springfield Baptist Church for 3 years before the Lord called him into music evangelism. The newest member of OneWay, he has sung lead since August of 2022.
Jared also serves as the Multimedia Coordinator for the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce. He continues to write and serve in local churches with his fiancé Mary Kate Chisolm of Clinton, MS.
TESTIMONY FROM BROCK WHITE
Brock has been involved in Southern Gospel music all his life. He accepted Christ as his Savior when he was twelve years old. It was apparent to Brock’s family that music was indeed in his future, as he was singing in church when he was three years old. As Brock’s life progressed so did his love for gospel music. During these formative years Brock was greatly influenced by his father who sang in gospel groups. Observing his father intensified Brock’s desire to sing in a gospel group. He has been singing with his family for many years. The Whites recorded their first album when Brock was twelve. Later, he sang as tenor with the Still Water Trio, who recorded their first album when Brock was fifteen. Brock says he has realized that the best way he can share his love for God is through gospel music. Known for his outgoing personality and his ability to meet people from all walks of life, Brock is certain that music is God’s calling for his life. The opportunity to sing professionally came at an early start as a member of Paid in Full from 2006 to 2019. During those years Brock sang nationally including places such as The National Quartet Convention, Scotland, Canada and many more. This was the fulfillment of a dream to convey the message of Christ through gospel music. Brock has performed with many nationally known artists including The Mighty Kingsmen Quartet, Naomi and the Segos, Gene Mcdonald, Jason Crabb and many more.
Brock White is 31 years old and has been happily married to Whitney for 10 years. Together they have two sons Tatum and Quitman. Brock is the son of Rev. Creighton and Catrina White and has one sister, Jessica Nanney. He was born in Jackson, Ms, and raised in Morton, Ms. He has resided in New Albany, Ms for 15 years.

I married Julie Kate Weaver in December of 2009. She is the owner of Moore’s Restaurant in Houston. She has two children, Dan and John Thomas. Although I am not the biological father, I consider them my own. Both are now United States Marines. We are extremely proud of them! OOO RAH!!!
I was baptized as a child but realized that I hadn’t made a true commitment of faith! After many years as an adult, I realized in 2003 my need to truly commit my life to following him! I was then baptized at Grace Baptist Church in Calhoun City, Mississippi. I’ve been serving him ever since! I would like to thank my good friends Lowry and Flo Guest for inviting me to church and helping me to get on the right track.
I have to say my mother was the person who introduced me to singing. I remember all the kids standing around the organ as my mother played and taught us to sing. My brother, Thomas, sings in a gospel quartet. He needed me to fill in for him once when he couldn’t be there, and I knew from that moment on what the Lord wanted me to do.
The first quartet I ever sang in was Hearts In Service. After that I sang with Potter’s Clay and now with the ONEWAY Quartet. I know God is going to use us in a mighty way! Every time I sing, I pray that the Lord would use me to bless someone.

I was led to the Lord by my Sunday school teacher at the age of 13 at McCool Baptist Church. As I grew older and found myself growing farther apart from God’s plan for my life, I knew I had to make a change. At the age of 29 I realized that I had wasted many years living apart from God’s will.
After realizing the path, I was on hand to change I moved my letter to Ethel Baptist Church where my wife had been a member since she was a teenager. We rededicated our lives to him and set out on a new path he had made for us.
Bro. Chester Carlisle was the pastor at Ethel Baptist Church at that time and the Lord used him in a special way to help me find Gods will for my life. With his guidance he led me to teach a Wednesday night youth Bible study and later teach the youth Sunday school class and sing in the church choir.
In April 2001 Bro. Chester started a church quartet and guess what the name was? 4Praise.
The original members were Steve Chandler, Chester Carlisle, Novice Adams and Mark Bradberry. God used this quartet to show his will for my life and that is to share “The Message” through song.
