Kenny Williams (Baritone) Bio

Hello! Just a few words about myself… I am a Cleveland, Mississippi native. I graduated from KennyPhotoCleveland High School in 1985 obtained an AS degree in Funeral Service Technology from East Mississippi Community College in 2001.

I married the lovely Leslie Jenkins in January of 1986. We have two children; Sharla who was born in November of 1990 in Starkville, Ms and a son Jordan who was born April of 1997 also in Starkville. We currently reside in Cleveland where we own a family business.

My walk with the lord began at an early age of 10. I knelt at the altar of Victory Heights Baptist Church at the end of the service and asked the Lord Jesus to be my Savior.

After many of my family members were saved or rededicated their lives to the Lord, we began attending the Church of God of Prophecy; it was there that my love for music and singing began to evolve.

My father, mother and brother were all singers and musicians so it was in my genes. I began singing and playing different instruments at an early age. It was a common occurrence for our church to have all-night singing and many different groups from all around would attend. The first group I ever sang with was the Brothers Three. This group consisted of 3 of my best friends and myself. Soon we all grew up and married and moved away from each other. I was 17 when the Lord saw fit for me to begin singing with a local quartet, the Gospel Notes.

Through the years I have sung with several other local quartets; The Praisemen, Emmanuel Quartet and, now I am so excited to be a part of, the ONEWAY Quartet. It is my humble desire to witness through song to the hurting and dying world in which we live. I would love nothing more than for the whole world to hear the Good News that Jesus Christ saves those who are willing to receive him as their Savior!
